Tmt. D. Rathna I.A.S., District Collector and District Magistrate of Ariyalur District belongs to 2011 IAS batch. Graduated in B.Sc Chemistry and a Gold medalist in M.A Political Science.

Recruited through TNPSC during 1994 and joined as District Registrar in the Registration Department. Worked as Deputy Inspector General of Registration in Trichy and Tanjore Zones. Got promoted as Additional Inspector General of Registration in the year 2011 and was conferred with IAS in the year 2018.

She also served as Sub Collector, Tiruvallur and joined as District Collector & District Magistrate at Ariyalur on 13.10.2019.
