Ariyalur District is a newly inaugurated from integrated district of Perambalur on 13th January 2009 as per GO Number 20. As per GO employees are recruited for the Department of Survey and Land records and office working from the date of 24th Feb 2009 in this district of Ariyalur.
Lands are surveyed through “F” line, Sub-Division, and Patta transfer schemes are implemented in Talk Offices under control of Survey and Land Records. Land Owners details are entered in proper registers to know current Poison.
Digitization of Natham Land Records
Natham Records are computerized on 07th July 2014. In All Natham A Register and Natham Chitta records have been computerized. The Work has been Completed.

FMS Records are to be computerized on 07th July 2014.
Digitization of Village Map
Mosaicing the digitized fms work has been started by 15.03.2018. Work Progress
Online Patta Transfer
In Ariyalur district UDR records like A register and Chitta have been digitized and brought online. Nowadays the pattadhars can download their UDR records like A register and Chitta by online. Application of Patta transfer are purely made by online only.
Land Records Management Centre
The Land records management centre is now functioning in Sendurai & UdayarPalayam Taluk.
Firka Surveyor Quarters
In the year 2013 Ariyalur Taluk (KeelaPaluvur Village), Sendurai taluk (Asaveeran KudiKadu Village) and Andimadam taluk (Andimadam i Village) Firka Surveyor Quarters were opened by the Honourable Chief Minister and Now It has been used by concerned Firka surveyors.
