Eligibility criteria for getting Monthly pension (Rs.1000/-) under these schemes.

3 Indira Gandhi National Disabled Pension 1000
  1. 18 years and above
  2. Destitute
  3. Belonging to below poverty line family
  4. Disability level 80% and above
  5. Not begging to anybody
  6. 100% Deaf also eligible.
4 Destitute Widow Pension Scheme 1000
  1. Destitute
  2. 18 years and above
  3. Should be widow
  4. Without any income or source of income owning fixed assets valuing less than Rs.1,00,000/-
5 Differently Abled Pension Scheme 1000
  1. 18 years and above( after getting the necessary age relaxation from the District Collector will sanctioned to the age 1-18 years)
  2. Disability level 40% and above
  3. Dumb Person are also eligible
  4. Differently Abled persons working in permanent jobs in Government Departments, Government Undertakings and Government Aided Institutions including Educational Institutions are not eligible.
  5. Differently Abled Persons employed in private sector on a permanent basis and drawing regular monthly salaries, whose annual income exceeds Rs.3.00 lakhs are not eligible.
  6. Differently Abled Persons who are self-employed and whose annual income exceeds Rs.3.00 Lakh are not eligible.
6 Destitute / Deserted Wives Pension Scheme 1000
  1. Destitute
  2. 30 years and above
  3. Must be legally divorced or deserted for not less than 5 years (or) obtained legal separation certificate from a competent Court of law.
  4. Without any income or source of income owning fixed assets valuing less than Rs.1,00,000/-
  5. Not begging to anybody
7 Un-married Poor Women Pension 1000
  1. Destitute
  2. Should have completed 50 years
  3. Should be an unmarried woman
  4. No more assets than the value of Rs. 1,00,000/-
  5. No income from any other sources as per G.O (Ms).No.80 Social Welfare Dept. Dated: 01.07.2008
8 CMUPT – Old Age Pension(General) 1000
  1. 60 years and above who are incapacitated to earn
  2. Destitute and must Agriculture Labourer without land.
  3. Name enrolled in CMUPT Scheme
  4. Without any income or source of income owning fixed assets valuing less than Rs.1,00,000/-

CHIEF MINISTER’S UZHAVAR PATHUKAPPU THITTAM 2011

As per the announcement of the Hon’ble Chief Minister in the Assembly on 10.09.2011, the “Chief Minister’s Uzhavar Pathukappu Thittam 2011’’ ( முதலமைச்சரின் உழவர் பாதுகாப்புத் திட்டம் 2011 ) is being implemented in the State of Tamil Nadu vide G.O. (Ms.) No.265, Revenue [LR-I(2)] Department dated 10.09.2011 in lieu of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Labourers – Farmers (Social Security and Welfare) Scheme, 2006.Under the scheme, the following financial assistance are given

Features

  1. Enumerated as Main Member in the family who are engaged in agriculture and allied to agriculture viz;
    • Horticulture;
    • Sericulture;
    • The raising of crops, grass or garden produce;
    • The use by an agriculturist of land held by him or part thereof for grazing;
    • The use of any land for the purpose of raising manure crops;
    • Dairy farming;
    • Poultry farming;
    • Livestock breeding;
    • Growing of trees;
    • Inland fishing
  2.  Enumerated as Dependent Member in the family who depends upon the main member.
  3. Paralysis has been included in accident relief category and a sum of Rs.50,000/- is given as assistance.
  4. To avail the funeral expenses amount of Rs.2,500/-, no death certificate is required and the amount will be paid immediately.
  5. Fine Arts, Teacher Education and Nursing have been included in this scheme for educational assistance.
  6. Educational assistance can be availed under the scheme even if being obtained under other scheme.
  7. Continuing assistance to dependent family members even after the demise of Farmer member.
  8. During temporary incapacitation of farmer member on account of TB, Cancer, HIV/AIDS and other terminal diseases rendering the farmer member incapable of doing work, the affected farmer member shall be provided a monthly Pension of Rs.1000/- during the ailment till the disease is cured.
  9. Monthly grant of Rs.1000/- is given to the orphan children of the main member who died due to HIV.

1CMUPT – EducationITI, Polytechnic, Diploma in Fine Arts, Teacher education and Nursing, Bachelor, Degree in Fine Arts, Teacher Education and Nursing,
Post Graduate Degree in Fine Arts and Nursing and Professional Courses students given the Scholarships every year

  1. Fine Arts, Teacher Education and Nursing have been included in this scheme for educational assistance
  2. Educational assistance can be availed under the scheme even if being obtained under other scheme
  3. Continuing assistance to dependent family members even after the demise of Farmer member

b) Loss of both hands (1,00,000)

c) Loss of both legs (1,00,000)

d) Loss of one hand and one leg (1,00,000)

e) Total and irrecoverable loss of sight in both eyes (1,00,000)

f) Loss of one hand or one leg (50,000)

g) Paralysis (50,000)

h) Loss of limbs from grievous injuries other than hose specified above (20,000)

  1. Paralysis has been included in natural death relief category and a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- is given as assistance
  2. To avail the funeral expenses amount of Rs.2,500/-, no death certificate is required and the amount will be paid immediately.
5 Temporary inhabitation 1000
  1. Temporary incapacitation of farmer member on account of TB, Cancer, HIV/AIDS and other terminal diseases rendering the farmer member incapable of doing work, the affected farmer member shall be provided a monthly Pension of Rs.1000/- during the ailment till the disease is cured
  2. Monthly grant of Rs.1000/- is given to the orphan children of the main member who died due to HIV

 

MEMBERS  – ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Main Members who can be enrolled

Small and marginal farmers (including on tenancy)
(wet land not exceeding 2.50 acres or dry land not exceeding 5.00 acres and engaged in  direct cultivation)..
Agricultural labourers.
Inland fishing and labourers working in plantations.
Age – 18-65 years..

DEPENDENTS- ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Dependent who can be enrolled

Non-earning members of the family of registered farmer member.
Wife or husband, as the case may be.
Children.
Deceased son’s wife and children.
Parents.

Family Accident and Distress Relief Scheme

2 Family Distress Relief Scheme 20,000
  1. The head of the family male or female will be considered as the bread winner if he/she is an earning member(G.O.(MS).no. 470, dated:23.05.1989
  2. Family will be nuclear family of parents and depends
  3. For Agricultural Labours and small and marginal farmers of village artisans
  4. Annual Family income of Rs. 48,000/-
  5. Financial assistance by Central Government.

 

CHIEF MINISTER’S PUBLIC RELIEF FUND

Financial Assistance to the bereaved families/persons who met with accidents(natural calamities, communal clashes, accidents including explosive accidents, bomb blasts, decoit raids, attacks by wild animals, costly surgery and other medical treatments, factory / mill lockouts / lay off, public cause served by certain institution, snake bite, drowning in ponds, lakes, rivers and sea, suffocation accidents, etc., ) causing death.

Annual Family income of Rs. 48,000/-
