Kalaignar Mahalir Urimai Thittam 2nd phase

The Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu inaugurated the “Vellum Tamil Pengal” event, a grand celebration of the achievements of successful women in Tamil Nadu, and the second phase of the “Kalaignar Mahalir Urimai” Scheme at a government function held in Chennai. In the live video telecast of this event, which took place at the Annalakshmi Rajapandian Marriage Hall in Valajanagaram, Ariyalur district, the Honorable Minister for Transport and Electricity, participated and distributed bank debit cards for the “Kalaignar Mahalir Urimai” Scheme to 16,525 women. The District Collector, the Ariyalur Member of Legislative Assembly, and the Jayankondam Member of Legislative Assembly also participated in this event. (PDF 94KB)
